The Fall/Winter Issue and an Anniversary

Welcome to the Fall/Winter Issue of Mysterical-E which contains some treats for the mystery fan.

This Fall marks the Tenth Anniversary of the publication of Murder on Camac, the first in my Marco Fontana Mysteries series.

MURDER ON CAMAC

When author Helmut Brandt is killed in an apparent mugging, his partner doesn’t believe it was a random act of violence. He turns to PI Marco Fontana to help find the truth behind Brandt’s murder. Fontana takes the case not realizing the explosive nature of the case. Brandt’s research into the decades old death of Pope John Paul the First, implicated people never before suspected and thereby made him  serious enemies within the Catholic Church. Uncovering Brandt’s killer could mean exposing a thirty-year old plot to kill the Pope and could ruin the people named in the new documents Brandt is supposed to have. And if Brandt’s enemies have killed once over this information, they won’t hesitate to murder a P.I. who might get too close to uncovering the decades old plot.

As Fontana digs into the case, he finds Brandt also had rivals in his work and in his love life. Rivals with motives for murder. He also encounters powerful forces intent on stopping him. When Fontana himself is attacked, he knows he must find answers before someone else gets killed. The web of intrigue and deceit is intricate, tangled, and deadly. Fontana deftly balances his work as a PI with his position as owner of StripGuyz, a troupe of male strippers; he must also negotiate the intricacies of love and relationships which he has been avoiding all too long. Along with Anton and Luke, Olga his secretary, a host of male strippers, and other denizens of his world, Fontana manages to navigate his way to a surprising conclusion.

Several other entries in the series followed Murder on Camac and a new volume will be published in the next couple of months. The title and cover are still embargoed by the publisher but the cat will be out of the bag at some point soon.
