Editor's Column

Spring 2010

The snow is gone and Philadelphia is settling into an uneasy Spring filled with debt and thuggish "flash mobs" terrorizing the downtown.

Ah, city life. The thrill of it all. You leave your house never knowing whether to take an umbrella or a club. But, hey, that's one of the little mysteries we all face if we coose the urban scene..

Five years ago the Spring Issue was the first one launched after I took over the publication. Five years means there's a lot of material in the archives for you to look through. Mysterical-E was issued in a different way before 2005, so one block in the archives gives you access to all the stories and articles of the previous five years. The other blocks are the quarterly issues since Spring of 2005

It wasn't until this page was being prepared that it dawned this marked a five year milepost under my charge. Truthfully it hasn't seemed like five years and that's a good thing.

This issue is filled with quite a few treats. Among them is the beautiful cover by Josh Stewart who is, listen up authors, a skilled cover artist. He can make your book stand out on the shelves. Tell him we sent you!

Then the stories, interviews, and columns will keep you busy for a while.

ENJOY THE ISSUE AND LET US HEAR FROM YOU!
