The Fall Issue

We arrive at our Fall issue which makes eleven issues since I became the Publisher. Mysterical-E was around several years before that, however without numbered issues.

Fall brings with it holiday madness (and a new contest on a similar theme). It also brings football which is not this editor's favorite sport. Baseball, Soccer, Curling (yes I like curling -- maybe because it's kind of like bocce, which is part of my roots) -- those are all more fun to watch. Speaking of watching, I did go along with some friends to a new high tech bowling establishment. I say establishment because it's not just an alley -- it's a restaurant, a bar, a pool hall and all High Tech. Roll your ball down that alley and it not only electronically gives your score, it also shows how fast your ball flew at the pins.

But I was being good -- I didn't pick up a bowling ball because I couldn't risk another bout of sciatica. So, I just watched the electronic scoreboard and relaxed.

This issue has a lot of good reading. The Sweeper returns as does Jack Best. And a new series set in Italy begins.

Enjoy it!
